Dr Réka Versics obtained a degree in law in 2011 at the Faculty of Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest. In 2007 she participated in The Summer Law Program of University of San Francisco School of Law. Between 2008 and 2010 she completed the three year program of American Legal Studies of Center for American Law (joint program of KUL and Chicago Kent College of Law). She is a member of the Competition Law Research Centre since 2010.
During her university studies she worked as a trainee with Clifford Chance and Allianz Hungary Pension Fund in Budapest. After her legal studies she continued with Allianz and worked for MetLife Insurance Company and an independent Hungarian law firm. She has started as a trainee lawyer at HP Legal in December 2015 then worked as an associate from February 2017. As of February 2018 she is a senior associate at HP Legal.
Réka has recently been involved in all major transactions advised by our firm. She gained significant experience in banking and finance as well as M&A transactions. She is an expert of Hungarian company law focusing on the formation and establishment of all types of companies, joint ventures and shareholder agreements. In addition, she has wide experience in due diligence exercises as well as sale and leasing of real estates and competition matters.
